Here are some photos from Logan's Pinewood Derby last weekend.

And they're off - Logan's car is second from the left. Sadly, this is about as close as it ever stayed to the rest of the pack.

You are "right on" about what should be the intent of these projects, Jason. The kids should be heavily into the "doing" of the project. The kids that "do it themselves" are learning the most. Logan (and you) have every right to feel especially proud of his work!
Logan, Your race car looks terrific! I'm so proud of you for all the time and care you took in making and painting it. I know Mom and Dad are proud of you too. Way to go!! Love, M'Amy
