Photos From the Shedd Aquarium and Field Museum

As promised. Unfortunately, like all museums both of these were fairly dimly lit, the better to see the animals and exhibits inside. Great for vision, sucks for photography. There were plenty of fun moments, but most of them were hard to get in a photo. Here are a few of the better ones.

such cute boys! Love the ones with Liam and his cool glasses! And I don't think Logan (was it?) is too keen on that NASTY eel. I hate those things. So maybe it's my imagination.

okay, after going back to look, it looks like a snake, not an eel. I can deal with snakes!

I think that was actually a glass lizard. It has no legs, so it's hard to tell from a snake. If I remember its name comes from a defense - it can drop its tail off like a gecko, which shatters into several pieces.

Ordinarily Logan would be keen on the snakes, but that was getting late in the day.
